Transportation

For those willing to forgo a car (which we recommend), the K bus (running every twenty minutes) stops half a block from the house.  This bus will take you north to the 41st shopping corridor and to Haulover State Park and Marina, south to Lincoln Road, the lower Collins Avenue - Fifth Street commercial corridor, the Jungle Place, the Miami Children’s Museum and downtown Miami.  (Otherwise, using a taxi is generally less expensive then renting a car unless you plan to make many trips a day.)
